I based the logo for Reykjavik Dance Festival on Laban Dance Notation, or Labanotation. It's an archaic form of transcribing dance, similar to notes for music. It's a system not many in the dance world use, but most know from history.

The concept of the tickets is falling in love with dance and choreography. Dancing is probably the most obscure of the major arts, and a big part of the festival is finding ways to bring appreciation of this art to a wider audience. The ticket system reflects that; a Friend attends up to 6 shows, a Lover can attend every event, and a single ticket is called a First Date.
